INGREDIENTS
3 lb. of shrimp (large in shell)*
1 cup canola oil
2 tsp shoyu (soy sauce)
3 tsp Hawaiian salt (ground) or kosher salt
Few drops of Tabasco sauce
2 cloves of garlic crushed
3 Tbsp Lancer wine (any white wine will do) |
PREPARATION
Heat the ingredients until salt dissolves.
Add 3 Tbsp honey once the above mixture cools
Marinate shrimps (if using 16-20 shrimps) for about 7 hours then grill
* Prepare the shrimp by pulling off legs. Cut the inside of the shrimp and devein. Fan shrimp backwards to break back of shrimp (this allows the shrimp to lay flat). |
