INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 cloves garlic mashed one egg (for low cholestrol you can just use the 'whites')
finely dice:
1 stalk celery finely
1 carrot
1/2 lg onion
1/2 red bell pepper (optional)
--you can pretty much add any veg. you like, sometimes I chop a little parsley (cilantro would be okay too) or zuchini
1 t salt
1 t pepper
1 T shoyu
1 t worchestershire sauce
pinch season salt and garlic salt (optional)
2 T catsup (optional) |
PREPARATION
Combine ingredients and form in loaf pan, or any shape you like (remember the shape [thickness, etc] dictates cooking time)
Bake in 350 degree oven for approx. hour or a little longer
Remove from oven and 'rest' 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Serve with corn on the cob and 'gohan.'
